@@itskatwaugh I love the tips you gave. I just realized my comment didn’t imply how much I enjoyed the video! Although, the weather widgets aren’t working on my Notion :/ I love the aesthetics of yours and was hoping to make my own. AND I have the KaTex page ready to go!
@@leilaniausten Thank you! I appreciate you coming back to let me know 🥰 So there's an extra step with the weather widget to get it to work right. I had completely forgotten about that so I'm glad you mentioned it! First I go to weatherwidget.io (weatherwidget.io/) and that's where I customize my widget with the colors. Just grab the hex codes you want for the icons! My peach color is #fae0c7. Once you have it the way you like, you can click "get code" and it will give you a block of html code. That's when I go to apption.co. With a free account you can create 3 URL embeds that you can put in Notion, and I think once you it 1000 views on the widget it says "you've hit your free limit" at which point I either remake it or just leave it because it doesn't bother me a ton! It takes me a few months to get there too. You just need do that extra step because you can't put html code directly into Notion! Hope that helps! Feel free to let me know if you have more questions. Updating the description to reflect this! 💕
OMG I needed the vertical divider tysm for this
Great video. Love the kaytex stuff. Never seen that before.
Automatic save. When you're in UX, you need this. Thanks!
This had some great ideas that I had not thought of and are native to Notion
I definitely love the easy but effective route 😆 glad you found it helpful!
I needed more pictures!
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll keep it in mind going forward 💕

Love your weather widget!! Would you mind sharing the hex codes you used?
Yes! It's #fae0c7. Just a tad darker than the Notion orange highlight hex code but still looks the same 🙌
